Calm Mail is a free protected email service for people who need to receive necessary co-parenting information without first being exposed to hostile or emotionally charged language. A calmer AI presentation shows the practical points first. The original message is stored separately, remains unchanged and can be opened deliberately if it is needed.
Calm Mail gives you a protected address and puts a neutral layer between the message that was sent and the version you see first.
Register with your normal email address, then create a separate Calm Mail address for incoming co-parenting communication.
Add the ex-partner and relevant professionals who are permitted to contact the protected address. Messages that cannot be confidently matched are kept away from the main inbox.
Calm Mail identifies questions, requests, dates and actions. The sender’s complete original wording stays hidden unless you deliberately choose to open it.
The central information is presented without a sentence-by-sentence repeat of the original hostility.
Questions that may need a response are separated into a short, easy-to-scan list.
Requested actions, arrangements, dates and stated deadlines are pulled into clear practical points.
Safety, evidential or legal wording can be retained where leaving it out could hide something important.
The calmer version exists to reduce the immediate emotional impact. It is not a transcript and does not become the original record.
The complete email that arrived is kept unchanged. Attachments remain with the message, and you can choose to reveal the sender’s exact words when you decide that you need them.

I know that one hostile message can change the feeling of an entire day. Even when an email contains information you genuinely need, the way it is written can make it difficult to find the practical point.
I created Calm Mail to give people a choice: receive the information first, then decide for themselves whether and when to open the original wording.
Yes. Calm Mail is a free standalone service from The Coparent App. You do not need a paid Coparent App family subscription to create a Calm Mail account.
No. The complete original email is preserved unchanged. The calmer AI version is a separate presentation that you see first.
No automated system can guarantee that. Calm Mail aims to remove insults, blame and emotionally charged wording from the calmer presentation while retaining practical and important information. You should check significant details against the original.
Yes. The original is hidden by default, but you can deliberately open it whenever you decide it is necessary.
You can authorise relevant professional senders as well as your ex-partner. Professional messages are normally shown as written unless you choose to enable a calmer AI presentation for that sender.
No. A reply is sent exactly as you write it. Calm Mail does not automatically soften, edit or change your outgoing reply.
No. Do not rely on Calm Mail alone in an emergency. Contact the appropriate emergency service or a qualified safeguarding or legal professional when immediate help is needed.
See the practical information first. Keep the original safe. Choose when you are ready to open it.
